Saleen teases new s281 ahead of SEMA

Saleen Performance Vehicles (formerly just Saleen, Inc.) teased us all with some shots of their upcoming s281 Mustang. The concept I saw before was less than stunning, but these certainly do inspire a LOT more curiosity on our parts! We really like the new spoiler on the rear end, and the diffuser at the bottom rear is pretty serious looking too! Love the squared off tips of the exhaust!

We’re not sure if this next picture is exact, as it appears it may have been released previously, but it comes close to matching the following picture, so we’re pretty sure it is. 
I really like the hood scoop, and it’s been confirmed there will NOT be any butterflys under it (which is a bit of a relief).
As you may have guessed from the pictures, the car will debut at SEMA 2009, no doubt on the first day, which is Tuesday November 3rd.
Be sure to look for Brothers Performance coverage of SEMA as we’ll have LOTS and LOTS of Mustang pictures (from the classic 60’s to the current generation) as well as practically anything else we can get a picture of, including Camaros, Challengers, Specialty cars (like the Saleens, Steedas, and SMS’s) and I’m sure more than a couple of chopped up mish mashes of metal that are super hot to gaze at.
oh, and there will likely be some video, as well!
Look for more teases about models being released at SEMA here in the coming 3 1/2 weeks! TIME TO GET EXCITED!
