Hooner-iffic Kendall Oil logo laid out on the pavement by a GT500

Laying rubber down onto the pavement in a tire salesman pleasing way isn’t all that hard to do. Just try searching “burnout” in youtube and you’ll find everything from a guy on a bicycle somewhere in the middle east pedaling for all he’s worth to an endless number of muscle cars shredding their rubber all over the place.

Doing this in a Mustang GT500 would be especially easy. But laying down the rubber so that you end  up with a corporate sponsor logo? Now that would be art… which brings me to this video.

OK, so it’s not real, but CGI. Hey if they can make a Mustang do kick flips and 360’s like a skateboard (here), then why not have it vulcanize some rubber into the shape of the Kendall Oil Logo?

Real or not, it’s certainly smile inducing to watch the GT500 have it’s way with an open spot of pavement, and knowing that the guy isn’t burning up his brake linings or his clutch at the same time that he’s laying a little tire smoke is somewhat pleasing as well.
