Shelby American announces 2011 Ford Mustang GT350

Friday, January 22nd, 2010

The GT350 is back, and it’s going to carry the Shelby name. Wasting NO time from the announcement of the 2011 Mustang and it’s 5.0 liter powerplant at the Detroit Auto Show, Shelby showed off it’s “concept car” which reportedly will hit the streets for real a little later in 2010 with few changes from as it’s shown here.

Wednesday, January 13th, 2010

Laying rubber down onto the pavement in a tire salesman pleasing way isn’t all that hard to do. Just try searching “burnout” in youtube and you’ll find everything from a guy on a bicycle somewhere in the middle east pedaling for all he’s worth to an endless number of muscle cars shredding their rubber all over the place. 2011 Mustang GT 5.0 Liter Ford releases BIG pictures and specs on their 5L

Wednesday, December 30th, 2009

Today we have a very picture heavy blog about the return of the 5.0 liter to Ford’s 2011 Mustang GT. Indeed, one of the worst kept secrets of 2010, the 5.0 liter “coyote” engine has been rumored around the Internets for months and months now. Officially released, or dis-embargoed, this week at the Detroit Auto Show, Ford has released scads of images of both the car with the slightly re-styled 5.0 badge on it’s fenders, and of the engine itself.

Steeda sent out some “sneak peek” images of their upcoming “Steeda Q” 2010 Mustang. More Aggresive track pack planned for the 2011 Mustang (5.0 liter!) GT

Wednesday, August 12th, 2009

I guess a couple of writers for Car and Driver magazine made it out to a “run what ya brung” night at a South haven, Michigan track last night and saw some thinly disguised 2010 Mustangs. Seems some engineers over at Ford released a couple of new ponys onto the track with a new, beefier “track pack”. (more…)

2010 Mustang Test Drive Crash Obliterates And Disintegrates GT

Monday, July 13th, 2009

Here’s how the story circulating the internet goes…

Three nineteen year old boys talked someone into giving them the keys for a test drive of a brand new for 2010 Ford Mustang GT. This car comes stock from the dealership with more than 315 horsepower, and by the pictures included here,  that’s about 314 horsepower more than these hooligans could handle. I’m not sure if the failure is more in the poor driving skills or in the dealership that handed over the keys to a brand new $35,000 muscle car without insisting that a salesman accompany them.
